OK, I grabbed all the tools for the Animal Crossing boot and PSUL loader, and took instructions from maxconsole.com(the one written by BOB). I made a new PSO file with the changed IPs, but am confused towards the PC IP change. I have Windows 98 SE, and when following the Instructions to change the PC IP:

Control Panel/Network/LAN Connection/TCpIP properties. However, my computer stops at the Network symbol, there is no LAN Connection folder or slot, but these following tools have the TCPIP properties:

TCPIP Dial Up Adapter
TCPIP Dial UP Adapter 2(VPN Support)
TCPIP Intel 21143/2 based 10/100mbps Ethernet Controller
TCPIP SMC EtherEZ(8416)

I changed the Primary IP and Subnet address to 192.168.1.100 and 255.255.255.0 like the instructions said for each.

Even though the computer did change the IP address, the online screen of PSO(after saving the password to the Card) said "Cannot connect to DNS"
the black DOS screen of PSUL never recognized the new IP address to the game. The only different is when I changed the address of the SMC EtherEZ part, a connected option appeared on the DOS box, but then died. I also noticed that with this part's options changed, I was unable to connect to the Internet at all(PC or Gamecube)

What do I need to do now? Did I need to buy a License? Darn my old computer!!!!

BTW, I am using an external Motorolla Cable Modem w/ Comcast service along with a Linksys 10/100 fast Ethernet Network Hub.
