Trying to run backups of Jak 2 and Batman, and with both, all I get is the Ps2 menu screen with the memory card on the left and the purple playstation 2 disc on the right..

Are the backups just no good, or am I doing something wrong? I've got a messiah 2 pro.

looks like the backups aint good try burning them at a lower speed

Do you use that type of media on all your games.

I have the same problem with Genius rip of Batman Rise of Sun Tzu *Working DvD-Rip*.
I'm using a Messiah 2 v1.07 on a PS2 v4 NTSC
Burnt with CDRWin 3.9c @ 2x on a Sony brand CD-R, so the brand and speed are not the problem.
Any comments or suggestions?
