Newbie here...made a copy of some important docs a few months back onto CD-R using windows XP built in system. Have recently tried to copy this disk back onto my drive and several files are asking for a password.

To my recollection, I dont remember password protecting any files or the disk at all?

Some of my files can be easily copied while others ask for a password before allowing access.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Avoid using windowsxp built in recording tools, stick with the most popular brans roxio eazy cd or Nero
