just upgraded from win 98se to xp. When i try to open nero i get win-aspi file is missing 'wnaspi132dll' . reinstall nero.
But when i put a cd into my drives they don't read the info on the disc.
device manager says all is working correctly...

When upgrading from Windows 98 or Me to Windows XP you must uninstall CD burning software prior to upgrading and then reinstall it again after the upgrade has finished. Not doing so can cause a lot of trouble with CD-Rom devices in XP. Read through Alex Nichol's site here to learn more about CD Burning in XP www.aumha.org/a/xpcd.htm
You might also want to look through some of the links I have on one of my pages here www.webtree.ca/windowsxp/cdr_info.htm
