I was using my computer and decided to uninstall the "magic folders" software that allows you to hide folders. I was having problems uninstalling it - basically it froze, so i restarted my computer. Now my computer seems to be stuck in a cycle. It keeps restarting.

I start it up, it goes into boot/start mode, and at the last part it says:

Searching for Boot Records from IDE-0..OK

After that, usually that windows logo thing comes up with that bar at the bottom - but now, right after that message, my computer restarts. Keeps going to that message and restarts - i tried to go into safe mode - but even then, it restarts.

It keeps restarting.

Why is this, and how do i fix it?

Please help :(

I'm using windows xp, hard drive = ntfs formatted, if that info helps.

edit: if it helps, when i'm trying to get into safe mode, right after the following line it restarts:

multi(0)disk(0)par tition(1)windows\AppPatch\drvmain.sdb

Can you choose 'The last known working configuration' when you start up on F8 ?
