hey can any1 help? i had to use system restore a few weeks ago cause i had a virus on my comp its ok now but my cd-rw dnt work and i cant copy any of my college work from my comp which is a big problem. my dvd player still works but my cd-rw dnt open cds an wont copy just keeps saying "insert a blank disc" an ive brought 3 different make of cd so far none that work. ive allready uninstalled/reinstalled the drive but still dnt work. any1 got any ideas?

Try un/installing burning software or tried different one

Then I would flash the firmware

go to control panel, multimedia drivers/cdrom drivers
uninstall it from there it will ask you to reboot and hopefully should detect new hardware
