Read a lot of posts still none the wiser CAN YOU PLAY Backups ?
And if so how,not intrested in online,hooking up to pc as this is a kids console and should be kept in a kids bedroom:rolleyes:
Is there any modchips out yet?

well only my kids play ours,i play the ps2 and pc games, don't like mario and that monkey game whatever its called

lol - fair enough, timesplitters 2 is good though! Not thats its only justf or the Gamecube though its just easier to play on he Gamecube becuase of the pads.
I have a PS2 too and a Cube!

I doubt there will ever be a simple way to play backups on a gamecube, it has been said many times that it isnt even known if the laser in the gamecube will read minidvdr, if it doesnt then the PC method is the only way ever the gamecube will play backups.

Well, lately someone let out some software that lets you suck the games off a disk in the GC & download to your computer...then you stream them back to the GC, so no chip needed. GUI streamer now out.
