Hello PPL, i have recently come across Wario World - Which i got from somewere on the net - I downloaded it and hardly any of the ISO readers i had on my PC could read the file structure except for ISO buster and GC-Tool.
I dont really want to waste a DVD-R disc trying to burn the Wario world ISO - But does anyone know if it would work?
last time i checked Gamecube could not yet Read any DVD-R discs without a modchip or laser modification which isnt available yet.
I know it MAY burn OK with ISO buster but would the GCN be able to read the disc?
Thanks for your help PPL

No you cannot just burn off the file onto a dvdr and put it in a gamecube, for one thing a normal dvdr wont fit in a gamecube.

There is away to load them but it requires many things including a Broadband Adapter for the Gamecube and a Network Card on your PC.

I think you just burn the ISO image as a file itself (Data disk mode in your burning app), so you dont have to worry about image not being recogniseable by your programs.

The gamecube will not read the disc. End of Story.

The way to run 'ISO's' on a Gamecube is by using a security exploit in certain games (E.G. Phantasy Star Online). You also need (as mentioned by Indiana Jones) a broadband adapter for your GC which are like gold-dust at the moment - although E-Bay is good place to look although expect to pay $70 - $100 for one.

Then you need a PC with a network card connected to the BB adaptor and basically the GC reads the infor it needs from the ISO stored on the PC.

From what I can gather, it's quite a bit of messing about and expense and is only for those who are serious about these things.

I wouldn't even bother as most games allegedly do not play correctly and a broadband adapter on ebay the other day went for £53 plus p+p (retail was supposed to be £30). And if you play backups on a PS2 or Xbox the exclusives on the gamecube are really worth paying for.

It has been out for sometime in the UK but I think nintendo have pulled all the stock and therefore you can't get one anywhere except ebay.

Try DVDboxoffice.com they are in Canada it costs around £30 with free shipping.
