I selected a particular frame in a DVD. I attempted to capture it using SnagIt software, which copies what's on the screen into a file or onto the clipboard. It seemed to work as I created a .jpg file of the frame.
However, what seemed to have been copied was not the picture, but a reference to that spot on the DVD. When I played the DVD beyond the frame and froze it at a different frame, this JPG file now contained the new frame!!
Even saving the frame to the clipboard, then pasting it into Paint accomplished the same thing. And once the DVD was ejected from my PC, the JPG file was now blank.
Obviously the frame I had selected was not actually placed in the JPG file or on the clipboard.
Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?
Thanks.
