i own this dvd writer and it really bugged me that this drive though versatile it wont write a 700 MB CD!!!

is it because of the firmware?
or am i not doing it right?


has anyone succeeded in making 700+mb cds on this drive?

What burnware are you using? There was a bug in Nero which prevented you from doing this so it might not be the fault of the drive.

that stupid Juggler... never reminds me to close the CD!!!
i have been getting this illegal field in parameter list (error 17814)

but when i close the CD "i check the option to close it" it works fine!!

i think im just used to Nero on the other machine i work that that reminds you of closing the disk of hte space left isnt enough to carry on another session...

Make sure the close CD option is checked. Also check the "Overburning" box in Discjuggler.
