why have they added all the motion blur into Vice City? when I run it looks like I have four arms! anyone else hate this, it kinda hurts my eyes! :(

still an unbeatable game after all this time.

Motion blur sucks, but at least we can turn it off. Surely they know it sucks... ?

Anyway, I'm picking up the Double Pack next week. IMO they're both essential titles for anyone's game library.

Rockstar games rereleased GTA3 & vice city on one disc for both ps2 and now xbox :D

I think the retail is on 2 dvds. The wam version is anyway and the total size of both dvds together is only 35 rars.

That is the ONE game I miss and FIFA and Club Football just don't cut it.

Rumour has it it'll be next year before we see Pro Evo on the Xbox :mad:

GTA3 can fit on a CD, Vice is a DVD. Both are a lot smaller then the PS2 versions probably because the music is in wma format.

As for turning of the motion blur, how? The screenshots looked nice but at the moment it was much clearer/sharper on my PS2 without so much blurring!

I was also hoping they may have added some bonus xbox content but from what Ive played they're identical. (I suppose thats ok for non-ps2 owners because they are still fantastic games!)

It has two seperate isos, but it shouldn't be very hard to compile a custom DVDR that holds both games!

great, you can turn off the blur in the options, looks much better now! :)

the original reason they put the motion blurs in there was because the **** s2, cough, sorry ps2 couldnt handle the strain, graphically, somtimes, when alot was goin on in the game, and had to compensate by decreasing the "cut off"point, i think they call it,.................bit of useless information there.

anyone have info on the gta double pack? tried searchin for E8CAFDFFFF85C07D and no luck. however it has already has E8CAFDFFFF85C0EB and still freezes when loading at the beginning.

I'm psyched about getting GTA 3 and Vice City for Xbox. Those are the only games that interested me on PS2 and now they are on Xbox.

Xbox has had some really good games come out this year. I hope they can keep it up next year. :)

were did you read that? from what Ive played its identical to PS2?

I just got it and wow! This game really does rock! My buddy just showed me the prostitute trick... cold man, cold...

As for extra stuff, I wouldn't know, but just like MOH the framerate is amazing when you finally turn off the motion sickness Acid trip. That and the lighting is nicer along with some great reflections on the cars.

Lets not forget that the CD changer option allows you to play your own cds from the hdd like Gotham. John Denver never sounded so good.

Yes the lighting is better. I dont think theres any other bonus xbox content other then the graphics though.

I think the controls may be worse, weren't you able to control the camera on the PS2s analogue stick?? I dont remember it being so difficult to shoot because of bad camera angles.

hi guys ok what i found in the game is look out for a van with the name
on the side called toyz in the hood
when you jump in the van you will get a radio control car mini game


allso look out for the rarest vehicles whoopie ice cream truck ;)

does this freeze when the loading bar at the bottom starts?it just freezes
may sound stupid idea but this did it on mine too,all you do is when starting xbox go into settings then you will notice date will probably say something like 8907 change it to todays date(dont have to be exact)
it'll then not freeze when loading in

this date will reset every time you turn off xbox at the plug m8

Just played GTA3, & it seems a lot slower than the ps2 version!
Even when I drove the cobra, it didn't seem no where near as fast.
Is it just me!!

I havent noticed it being slower, someone else said this ... it has been a while since I played it though. :confused:

vice city looks the same speed to me, but GTA 3 is a lot slower than the PS2
version

Yeah, vice city seems to be about right. So what's going on with gta3!!
Will have to try it with trails, see if that makes any difference?

I got a dvdr with GTA3,Vice City, and True Crime. They all fit under one disk.

any of you guys had problems with the sound?
when the game boots up the music keeps cutting out
ive tried it from dvdr and my xbox hdd

yeh this happens to me aswell from hdd on both games quite strange.

yeah i had that problem but fixed it by changing the console to the correct region using the videomode select disc

i havent had the problem. i did a rip from blockbuster. worst 14.06 waste of my life.
