sounds more like you're running either an old chip or old bios.
what chip/bios do you have

It's either a bios problem, OR if it is the Riot release, the default.xbe file is incorrectly named. It is named "default.xbe.crack" and needs to be changed to "default.xbe". That is all that was wrong with mine, and it works good now. It is a very odd program, though, and it supports connecting to pc's, even in the retail version.

Hmm, I was wondering about this too. Someone said that Riot has a PPF patch but I haven't found it.
Maybe I can just use that rename as mentioned above, I have to try that one, thanks.

yeah, if you cannot fine the patch, then just rename default.xbe.crack to default.xbe.... BTW this game doesn't load from Harddisk. you must burn it to DVD.

Hmm, tried that too, a little better this time, but it only goes to the XBOX screen.

Lets see, my ISO file size after changing the name is:
737,148,928

I put it on a dvd-rw because the dash also works from a dvd-rw on my box, which is kinda old with the xios chip.

fist off, aint no bios problem, just for the record

xecuter 2.2 lite (m7 lba48 patched)
200 gigler hdd
samsung dvd

, but i`ll try and burn it back to dvd, also figured out that the default xbe file was wrongly named, so copied it to hdd and renamed from there using boxexplorer, will do another copy, and rename then put back on disk

P.S., just wonderin why it wont run from hdd?

will post results later

Someone said you can get it on a cdrw if you
just delete update.xbe and dashupdate.xbe and GDFimage it.

yes, it does fit that way, I did that to mine and put it on a CDR and it works fine! (I have a Samsung)
