Burn-R

I recently compared a CD I burned with the original mp3s on my hard drive and was surprised that the sound quality wasn't quite as good as the mp3s. Not from my computer's sound system anyway. It wasn't quite as 'crisp' or 'sharp' as the mp3s. It was a smooth jazz CD and I was switching quickly back and forth in Winamp, listening especially for the cymbal and high hat licks and bass runs. There is a small but definite loss. I burned it with EZ CD Creator 5.5. Just for grins, I burned another with Nero 5.5 but switching back and forth between the mp3s on the hard drive and the audio CD showed a definite difference between the two. Any suggestions? Thanks!
