okay, say like i'm using the font expliots to play an xbox live games, but i'm not gonna go online to play that game, i'm just gonna play that xbox live games offline... would that xbox live game update my dashboard or anything?

well, i was just wondering becuase if it update my dashboard, my font will have a problem hehe :Ds...

and when it update the dashboard version, doesn't my xbox need to be connect through the ethernet cable or the xbox live game disk itself has the dashboard file in the disk to update my dashboard without going online?

if your dash is a later version, but before live 2.0 you should be fine.
either way don't push the live tab on any game.

so that means that even if i don't have a connection to the internet, my xbox live game will still be able to update my dashboard version?

For the latest games, MS will probably be putting Live 2.0 as the updater. Even still, any game with a Live option will probably mess with your xtf files anyway, so even if it isn't the new dash, you'll probably still have to do the 007 hack again.

well, i'm currently using the bert and ernie font hack so i was wondering what to do to prevent from those live update games :(...

anyways, if so, is there a place or website that gives me some info about the games is live enable or not?

what dvd-rip games? does the release groups ussally remove that update option?

You really can't get suckered into this. You have to select the tab to go onto live. Then it will say that you have to update your system. Then you will have to hit OK. If you update your dash after all that... never mind.

Yes, you will not be able to access the Live tab found in games when your xbox has no ethernet connection. If the xbox suspects there is no link then it will tell you no connection was found and kick you back out to the main menu of that game.

if you're running an older dash than what's on a disc. it will update your dash whether you have an ethernet cable plugged in or not. just don't hit the live tab :tup:
