i have tried to make a audio cd (using a cdrw) from some of my mp3 files.
During the 'lead in' process using nero the burner stops and i get the message 'TEAC CD W524E NO SEEK COMPLETE'.
This locks my pc up and i have to switch it off at the power switch.
Any help please.

i'm experiencing the same problem right now. i just made 5 coasters, all because of "no seek complete". were you able to get some answer to the problem?

no mate i've not,if you find anything out let me know.

I used different media and burned at a slower speed in the end and it worked ok but i can't understand why i had the problem in the first place.

A "No seek complete" error occurs when the recorder cannot read the inserted media. This could be due to bad media, in which case you try different media, or it could also be caused by scratches or smudges on the media. In which case you should try cleaning the media. Sometimes the media is incompatible and not listed in the recorders firmware database.
