i know people don't like them because their cheap, but i have to say that i have never had a coaster, they work on my ps2, xbox, portable dvd player and our dvd player that is really old. they also work on all my friends players.

just thought i'd give them a bit of praise for once after all the slatting they get

:)

To each thier own I guess, most people slag them for good reason (inconsistancies with quality).

jesterrace's answer is probably the most accurate one that can be given. ;)

You can buy a batch of Bulkpaq/Datawrite and they can be superb with perfect finish to the disc. Buy another batch and it could be coaster after coaster ala the Datawrite red farce.

Sometimes an offer can be too hard to resist though such as the 2X Prodisc dye Bulkpaq Greens right now, I paid 37p each for a batch and took a chance knowing I could return them hassle free if I had problems. So far the disc has been superb for me and I am so confident I have backed up some of my favorite films on these discs, compatibility has been 100% too on players so far.

But you pay your money and take your chance with this brand - Nobody can deny that! :D

As jester says "each to their own" and if they work for you gr8 ... stick to what works.

Having said that, most folk I know, wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.
Personally ... I would not recomend them to anyone (unless I didn't like them) :D

I think you will find that the gr8 majority of experienced users here, will recommend Ritek disks, without reservation, but you wont find any recommending Bulkcraps, whatever their colour.

I don't think anybody here wanted an apology from you for expressing your opinion. That is what this thread is for after all. Differing opinions is what makes the world go 'round.
