I tried to back up my copy of Office 2000 pro. but all I get are coasters. I first tried w/ Nero 5.5 but only the 1st CD made a copy. The 2nd CD bombed out on me about 70% into the burn. When I tried CloneCD it failed on me near the beginning. Any idea's what the protections are and where they are located on the CD's.
Anyone have success backing up Office 2000pro??

I did it without any hitches using clonecd, Just scan it with clonyxl first and use the suggested settings, you can download both programes from my site,

Office does not have ANY copy protection so it should burn with no problems.

Try copying the entire disk contents to your hard drive and burn them from there.

There is an outside chance that your original copy, may be protected by whoever copied it in the first place but I would try brning from your HDD first.

Thank you. I'll try coping it to the hard drive and burn it from there.

Are you able to burn other cds successfully?

Yeah must MS stuff I have no problem copying to the HD first.
I usually use Disc Juggler.
I do have problems using just a direct copy in DJ, Nero, and/or Clone sometimes.
