i have d/l a couple of games from irc extracted them and got my bin + cue files

when burnt to cdr they just dont boot at all (Nero v6 told me that it must be put on cdr)

my burner is a lite on dvdrw lw-411SFS02
imation cdr
nero V6

any help will be appreciated

PES3 ( i think i read that the dvdrip didnt work anyway)

Did you convert them to ISO files first? Also how big were the games?

no i didnt
the files are 600-700 MB each
how do i convert to iso (proggies or guides would be very helpful)

Do you have a Modchip or swap disk ???
If not, they won't work....

Unless I am mistaken the swap magics won't read anything over 630 megs. Anyways, Try Alcohol 120% as it is supposed to be able to read through bin and cue and convert. Or you could try extracting the RAW data with a program like ISO buster. Anyways not converting the files are probably your problem here.

Yep, if its over 630mb, it won't boot with Swap Magic.

There's no need to convert to iso for Nero.

Older Nero:
File -> burn image.
Select "show all files", select the .bin/.iso.
Select Mode 2(for CD) or Mode 1(for DVD), finalize, DAO, burn.

Newer Nero(for CD or DVD):
Recorder -> burn image.
Select "show all files", select the .bin/.iso.
Select Mode 2(for CD) or Mode 1(for DVD), finalize, DAO, burn.

Newer Nero(for DVD[.iso]):
File -> Open.
Select "show all files", select the .iso.
Select Mode 1(for DVD), finalize, DAO, burn.


For some reason the newer Nero won't let you select Mode 2 when you use File -> Open.
