what on earth r u supposed to do in crimson skies - the game starts and theres a plane in front of me i follow it round and nothing happens i shoot it and nothing happens - press start and nothing appears in the mission box - is it a duff copy ?

that a little training mission :D , follow what the woman tells you to do etc...

Yep, then afterwards there are blue x's all around the levels. press x when you're near one and you'll get a mission to do.

Any one have probs running this from hdd, mine keeps says dirty disc or dsc maybe damaged ? Deos this need patching ?

Mine works fine from the HDD, uninstall the game and then reinstall, it should fix it.

my game has zip files in the dir is this normal?

I had a problem running this game from the HD until I turned off ALL of the in game reset options in EVOX. Now it works perfect and I can still use IGR because its in the bios.

should make this "sticky" that IGR(InGameReset) in Evox doesn't work properly:D... if you want IGR then go with the X2 bios.

yeh ok but were u getting dirty or damaged disc error? I have all IGR turned off anyway.

there's no woman talking in my version either .... is it a pre-release or something ?

I just fly round and round with no clue until I get bored.... I can't land or do anything except shoot the other planes which don't even retaliate.

This sux.... the first Crimson SKies on PC was awesome I used to go online and play... it had atmospheric music, speech and everything... !!!

ok... mine is a backup version off a friend but shouldn't it still play ok ? It is on a DVD-R so maybe it has had the guts ripped out of it ?

can anyone clue me up as to how to patch it or whatever ?

i got mine off the web and it didn't need any patching.. I can hear the lady telling me what to do so maybe you have the speech ripped out?
