I have access to a T1 line at my employer and i recently purchased a 128 mb jumpdrive and i already own a 64 mb jumpdrive - my question is, there are some game demos and files I would like to download onto these drives but they are too big - many years ago, some sites split their large files into smaller ones for downloading purposes. Is there a way I could do that on my own (so I could download the large file, say, between the 2 drives)?? Any advise would be appreciated!!

if you want to split a large file you can use WinRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/)

no problem m8. there are lots other programs can split files etc. but i found winRAR to be v.good. you can check this faq (http://www.geocities.com/doc_piano/winrar_faq.html) for how to do this.

Most stuff you download is already compressed, so I wouldn't bother setting the compression too high.
Yep, there are plenty of programs that simply split a file, you can then simply re-join it using the copy /b command or via the created bat file. That way there is no need for additional software.
