Hi there

Recently i put win 2000 on my P2 266mhz PC, however now i have to re-install all the drivers, including the modem. However the only problem i have is that i dont know what the make or type of modem it is to install the driver for it - is there any way of finding out the type of modem as at the moment i cannot dial up to anything,

Thanks

Take out the modem and search for a driver with information found on the modem, modems are the only devices that you cant rely on third party software as even the same model but modified by different manufactures could required its own unique driver.

If there is nothing on the modem download aida32, it should tell you.

Do as Duffy suggested. AIDA32 can only identify the hardware when the system does recognize them.
