I have a number of mp3+g discs that are just named track1, track2 etc., how can they be renamed with the actual track name and maybe artist name for reading by Winamp? I am having one of my blank days to-day, lol.

I don't know if there's another quicker way mate, but if you right click and rename each file, remember to rename both .mp3 and .cdg parts of each song the same apart from the extensions

if you use KJ Pro, you could use CD+G AutoName, works great

One suggestion is that there are a few rename utilities that will allow you rename a whole directory at once rather than click on each file manually. Saves alot of time.

Do a search on google. you should find it easily.

Hi Oxocubeman

I'm having the same problem and I started right clicking and renaming but that will take forever. have you had any luck with renaming the numbers to the actual name of song/artist. Would really appreciate some help. Thanks, rattlersnr

Autorenamer is separate from KJpro?

If you ever have to rename stuff manually, I find this program to be very good. Saves alot of time clicking on each file.

Renamemp3ren is a good programme for renaming, especially good for file extensions and individual bits. Have downloaded Joemammas prog and will try it out later this qweek.
