im really struggling to make my own karaoke discs have realy tried

for about 8 months off an on giving up hope il ever get me own personals discs done.
i have been using Dart Karaoke to make up the song importing song an lyrics, syncronise lyrics then save to the cdg bin file option, i use yamaha 8x8x24 writer which sources
say is able to write the cdg format an where i was going wrong in past was i was using nero to burn me discs
now im using CDRWIN an save the cdg bin file to disc using burn data cd option with CDRwin with write cdg box ticked. is this correct
when saved to disc my songs play on a cdg player on my pc but when placed in my karaoke cdg player i get high pitched sound no lyrics
dosnt find any tracks
where do you think im going wrong
