i am looking for a program that will put svcd/vcd disc 1/2 together so i can put onto dvd as a complete film i am using nero for burning

not sure what you're asking for but I'll try to explain.

First extract both mpeg file from your vcd/svcd.
Then merge them together with tmpegenc (if possible)
They should be one big file now, so just reencode them again to dvd compliant and burn. If you're doing VCD, I blieve you can put up to 6 hour worth of movie.
