Abit VT6X4 mobo, PII 850, 384mb ram,


OK, thought I knew best and has a play with the bios, now when the PC boots up it thinks I have a 566 processor! Also now only wants to find primary master on boot up (windows still sees them ok though). Anyone point me in the right direction and tell me how to do it properly? (please!)

And no, I didnt write down the old settings first

You need to set the FSB to 100MHz, its on 66MHz now , i think I remember the board has the settings in BIOS.

Check your hard drive jumpers make sure its set to Master, also the cable are plug into IDE1 on the motherboard.
