Hey guys! Long time since I surfed here! After 911 I have been kind of busy. But so much for the small talk. I need a program that will burn home movies to a DVD that works with a minimal jerry rigg on my part. All of the copies I have tried so far have the DVD function and mpeg2 function disabled due to a basic package or trial version. I am not going to buy a program that doesn't work. So! Any programs that work great out there and don't cost a arm and a leg?

Hey Earl good to see you here again! :)
Well I guess you may get a few different answers to this as everyone will have their own personal favorites. My personal fave right now is Neo DVDplus5.0 which I find very good and quite quick too.
Not too sure about a demo though but their site is here:- http://www.mediostream.com/neodvd/index.html

Thanks Lazza! That is a program I have not tried nor do I know anyone who has used it. So The price is right and the product description looks good! Do they offer a hard copy of their programs? If not I will log on at my Son's house and download one of the special packs.
PS/ Do you or anyone else have a promo code I am allowed to use?
Thanks!:D

Not sure about a hard copy Earl, looks to me like d/l only and that's how I obtained it.
Promo code, what's that? If only we UK guys had such things man! :D
When I was over in Texas last year it amazed me on my visits to Compusa, Circuit City etc, etc how many mail in rebates there were on products. Trust me, we just don't get that stuff here sadly. :(
