I've just ordered £1600 of components from Watford Electronics (Savastore), well I say "Just" but the order was placed on 31/10 - pretty apt considering the nightmare which followed.

First of all it took them until the 6/11 just to ACKNOWLEDGE the order, however they stated that delivery would be within 4 working days. It's now the 18/11 and still no delivery!!.

Needless to say the payment has long since cleared, and they are now suffering from selective deafness when emailed or called, infact their customer service is ZERO. So far I have no idea when delivery can be expected and they are not returning calls or emails.

If you run a search on google for "Watford Electronics Nightmare" then you'll see how bad this company really are, and the numbers of complaints which they have. I just wished that I had done this one simple thing before committing such a large amount of money to them.

So learn from my mistake and at least SEARCH for complaints against a company, either on this forum or Google to see if there is already any positive / negative feedback before using them!.

And above all - don't order your Christmas Pressies from Watford Electronics!!.

When I've been looking for pc hardware, I've always found Watford Electronics to be quite expensive so never bought anything from them.
Cancel the order if you can and shop around a bit more if you have the time.

Watford are next to useless.

I took them a laptop for repair a few years ago, and they actually canibalised it for spare parts !

I wouldn't touch them with someone else's barge pole !
