I'm sorry I think this is very stupid but I have to ask just in case it's possible.

I haven't got a dvd player in my pc, it's jus a 52x cdROM .. is there any possibility of playing dvd by using any software, ripping or whatever? if so which one?

No, none at all I'm afraid.

Your only option would be to rip a DVD to HD and convert to VCD but you could not even do that on your own system as you would still need a DVD-ROM reader to read the DVD.
