you can't make a CD+G disc out of those files mate, you can make a VCD disc though or a DVD. Neither format requires CDRWIN, so it doesn't matter whether or not it recognises your burners.

I Am Converting Lazers At The Moment.........I Have Found The Easiest Way So Far Is To Copy As MPeg.1 And Just Burn Direct To Disc As VCD Using NERO...........If Your Player Only Plays CDG It Won't Play Them So Best Prob Change Player They Are Well Cheap At Moment And A Good Investment.
I Found Mpeg 2 or More Caused Probs With Sound Distortion I Was Told It Was Something To Do With Codec !!! Beyond Me So Went For Easy Option If Anyone Knows Easier Way Would Love The Answer

I have loads of Pioneer VCD's converted from laser disc and the full SF VCD set. 99.9% of the Pioneer versions are, imo, the best there is as far as karaoke is concerned. I also use some tracks from the United series, also converted from laser discs, and a few from the SKG series. I play what I reckon is the best version most of the time, the only times I don't are for tunes like 'Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me' as the SF version is the one most singers are familiar with.

What settings do you use to make your VCDs i am having problem getting mine to play. I am using DVD Plus 3.0 to record the tracks to Mpeg 1 then i use Nero 6 to make VCD but so for i have only got one to play in my dvd player which plays VCDs , but the disks do play on the PC.

i would be greatful for your help on this matter.

Thank You
