System is as follows: Asus K7M Mobo with latest BIOS Update (1013), AMD Athlon 700 CPU, 2 sticks 128mb SDRAM & 1 stick 256mb SDRAM, Western Digital 80GB HDD, Radeon 7500 Graphics Card, LG 4040 DVD writer, Win XP Pro.

Computer has started freezing at startup, If I reset the machine it will sometimes boot OK, if the reset doesn't work then I enter the BIOS select reset to default and save and the machine always seems to boot from here!

I have removed the RAM sticks and tried them individually and the fault still persists.

Any suggestions please (CMOS battery is OK) other than changing the mobo!

I have now gone back to WIN ME (aaaaargh!) and everything is running fine which now leads me to believe that the problem is hardware or driver based. Has anyone out there had problems with the ATI drivers or Leadtek drivers please.:confused: :confused: :confused:

Im using a radion 7000series along with an asus board and running XP pro, No probs here.
