Yeah, there is no best chip, just what is.

chip is a chip is a chip, it's all what BIOS you have on the chip. the bios is the one that does the work, the chip just loads it.

why not just skip getting a chip all together and use one of the no-mod exploits. they seem to work just fine. more info at www.xbox-scene.com under the tutorials section. i've had really good experiences w/ matrix and chameleon's if you want really simple to install chips.
