My xbox is chipped with a matrix chip - excellent chip. I recently got hold of Slayers 2.5 on dvdr. I ran option 5, update/install EVOX and apps, but nothing appears to have happened, even though it appears to have shfyed a load of files onto my hard drive. How do I get to the dashboard? Did I need the "exploit" on my machine in the first place???? (I didn't have it).

Also, my mate's had the exploit done (audio one) and can't get crimson skies road to revenge (microsoft game!) to work. I gave him my Slayers 2.5 disc, which he ran, but The game still won't work. Did this update his bios?

Lastly - with this disc - is it possible to flash my xbox's bios with the version of Evox on the disc - and therefore remove the matrix all together??

To get to evox just start up the xbox without the disc. You can access your msdash from there. You do not need the xploit.

No it did not update his bios. Use Phoenix bios loader and any evox bios (m7) and you will probably get the game to work. (xploits and phoenix bios loaders have problems with some games and the 2bl image used in the xecutor bios.)

It is possible to flash your tsop with this disk. You will have to use two wires and solder to get the job done.

Can you explain what the "update disc" is - offered by people like NONZERO, which is an exploit update disc?
