I don't know how many people still use 98, but for those who do here's a god send. Or at least it is for me. I've been using 98 since my 1st PC 5 years ago, and i have had shutdown problems since day one. Tried everything......reg hacks and shutdown icons....allthat good stuff. I finally found something that works. At least it has for me. So far it hasn't failed once. Anyway, it's a small file that doesn't even install called "winexit". I looked for it again today so i could post it for anyone who has shutdown probs, but in searching i found a ton of other programs called by the same name. Not sure if the others work as well, but this one certainly works and is smaller than some of the others and doesn't require install. So anyone who wants it, here's the link...it's down near the bottom of the page.........

I'd really be interested to hear how well it works for others. For me it truly is a god send, as i am always having to shutdown with the button and watching my PC run scandisk at startup !
