View Full Version : Bios clock running too fast [Dell; Optiplex GXi 5200L; win95a]

compbuild Nov 27, 2003, 09:38 AM I have a Dell optiplex GXi 5200L, The problem is it isn't storing the BIOS settings and aslo when I go into the Bios the clock is running very fast, when it eventually gets into windows the clock runs fine, Anybody any Ideas? compbuild Nov 27, 2003, 09:59 AM I've tried chaging the battery but it doesn't make any difference compbuild Nov 28, 2003, 06:27 AM any suggestions TierraDelFuego Nov 28, 2003, 06:57 AM apart from the battery, i could only think to flash the bios. hopefully you're aware of the consequences or issues with doing this. if not read about it first and make sure you follow the help file available on all bios update websites. I have a Dell Power Edge 2300 server with the same problem.
