Ok, im kinda new at this so I figured I would ask here and maybe somebody could answer a few questions I had:

I have an older version of evox dashboard on my xbox w/ all snes and n64 roms loaded. I downloaded SlaYers_EvoX_Auto-Installer_v2.5FINAL.exe and I want to put the slaYers dashboard on my xbox. I burnt the iso that the rar file made onto a cd-rw and im ready to put the dashboard on, but I dont want to mess anything up. Also, this might sound crazy but I want to keep my older bios (original executer) on my machine b/c everybody around my area has the older bios in there xbox and I dont wnat to burn them a game and it not boot in their xbox then I have to burn the same game again. Will installing the new slaYers dashboard over my old evox dashboard upgrade or replace the bios? Also, will all my roms be saved on the hd? Sorry for so many questions but I want to be for sure everything will be ok when I run this slaYers cd-rw on my xbox. Thanks in advance for any help.

just download a newer version of evox and replace the files on c: much easier......
also the dashboard doesn't have anything to do with the BIOS so no worries there.
if you do install slayers, you may have to edit the evox.ini file to point to your old emulators folder and what not... just some basic re-configuration.

when i first put slayers on my box, i ignored the repeated warnings to back up my harddrive. i thought i knew what i was doing well enough not to worry about it. well, it erased ALL of my game-saves! major pain in the @$$. make sure to make another copy of game-saves, roms, and anything else you want to keep and put it on your computer. i've been thinking of using a new slayer's as well. let me know how it turns out.
