Anyone having problem with loading this game. i got the ProjectX release. It freezes on the loading screen after you start new games. i got X2-4979 bios. tried to patch it, choose PAL/NTSC, IGR off. still no success.:confused:

Just flashed with Evox M7 bios and it worked!!!?!?!! wtf how come it failed with X2-4979*repack* ???

i have the same problem with the max pain2 disk, and i am using the 4979 bios "repack" at is the M7 bios is it differnt from the 4977

What kind of bios are you running backup2k1? Is anyone having this problem with the 4977 bios (I know of someone having this problem with Max Payne 2 & Tiger Woods 2004, and I think they're using the 4977 bios (that's why I'm interested). :)

i'm using an old evox 2.2 bios and it won't load for me, either. believe it or not, it's pretty much the only game i have (out of a bunch) that won't load. it sticks loading the first stage. i have the usa ProjectX version.

Mine will go to the Executer2 screen (with the big X) and then back to the xbox menu screen. It wont load at all. Did someone find a solution to this?

SET YOUR XBOX TIME/DATE IN MS DASHBOARD. IT WILL WORK. SAME GOES FOR FIFA2004 & SOME OTHER GAMES.... when xbox is not connected to the socket the power for sometime the time/date goes wacked & if u set it corerct max payne2 will work. Garaunteed. Its cuz some games use clock/date when they they wanna save game & if ur xbox date is year 8907 which is mostly the default date it turns out to be, then the game gets confused & wont load :)
