i want to know which chip has the best functions on it at the moment so if i bought one the chances of having to upgrade would be minimal as i have an executer chip at the moment and it wont run certain games any ideas guys need to make a decision asap cheers guys

Sounds like another what is the best chip topic....but I bet the one that costs the most has the most features. I think they are all pretty much the same.

ok ill define it a bit better what chip will play all backups be upgradable if a better bios is released and will let me play on xbox live

like Devil-Man said its the bios and not the chip. i flashed my TSOP (onboard chip) with the latest bios and run every games:cool: Most modchips will enable to upgrade the bios. And NO chip with whatever bios you got will enable to play LIVE. only thing is to turn OFF the chip then go online with your original games. head down to xbox-scene (http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips.php) and compare the chips and the bios

how do i go about upgrading my bios guys im a bit nervous about doing this anyone gimme some pointers on how to do it thanks and waht are the down sides to doing this if any
