Do they have a different color dye other then the purple on blank dvdr's? and if they do is it better then the purple dye?

There are several different types of purple DVDRs. The 3 most reliable dyes that I know of are of the darkest purple: Ritek, Taiyo Yuden and Apple. Princo and a couple of others are light purple dye which isn't read as well by lasers (hence the media compatibility issues).

Thanks for the reply , but my first question is not answer.Is there a different color dye? The reason i'm asking is someone told me he had a different dye on his dvdr blank but not the purple dye... and it was better ..

The only ones that I have seen that don't have purple dyes are cheap generic media. Also keep in mind that what works well for one person certainly doesn't mean it will work for another. He also might be comparing them to the lighter purple dye Princo discs which are known to give a number of people trouble. A world of difference between the light purple dye discs and the darker purple dye discs.
