I have a problem with my a04

I have been writing disks at 2 speed fine until yesterday. Every time i go and copy a dvd it comes up with power calibiration fault. But it will let me burn at 1 speed

Any suggestions?

Could be a bad batch of disks or maybe the DMA setings have reverted to PIO mode.

PCE is a very common message in the forum its the media, firmware or you are writing too fast cause of the media, the firmware or your HD is slow cause its not been defragged.

I have used the same disks many times without a problem. How can i check what firmware im using. Im new to all this

Try a different disk before anything else.

What media are you using and what OS ?
