This is an "old" model ( copyright 2001) but I have just got a brand new (still sealed box) one.

The Owners manual states "you cannot play CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-RAM" on this machine, but I have an urgent need to play CD-RW discs on it, does anyone know if there are any hidden menus, remote control bypass codes etc. for this model which will let me play CD-RW.
