I use Record Now max to burn all of my authored Dvd's (VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS)

My question is which is the better option for compatibility..as both seem to work fine..

1:UDF - Up to 128 in Filename, any char.,plus 8+3 tree(Bridge)

2:UDF with Joilet - Up to 106 in length, any char.,plus joilet,plus 8+3 tree(Bridge)

i read somewhere that older players cant read Joilet ?

Any help appreciated

Joliet uses longer filenames - which may only be supported by certain operating systems/ DVD players - stay clear of Joliet for 100% compatibility.

I never change the settings the program already has. & they work perfect.

It's my understanding that joliet only applies to data files and doesn't really affect DVD movies.

I also run stock and I have yet to have problems after testing them out on multiple machines.
