i was wondering if u could burn the video files that r on ur computer to a dvd, i couldnt figure it out with and of my programs that i have except roxio, and that didnt work very well, (decides to get an error 97% through encoding)

any ideas? there mostly mpeg 1 and 2's, couple of avi

Nero Vision Express is a good program. You can either burn as DVD (takes a long time) or VCDs
DVD best as you get all the DVD features, but a 1 hour video can take 6 hours to complete.
Depending on the DVD you use, you might get away with just burning the MPEG files to a CD as data, this worked for me on a previous DVD player, but the latest "more sophisticated" one I bought is more fussy about MPeg files.

I wouldn't recommend using Nero to convert anything.

The AVI's you will definatly have to convert, the MPEG1/2 you may be able to get away with just re-encoding the audio.

Ok, I take that back, I would recommend Nero for encoding HE-AAC files, however that is not relivant in this case.
