Looking at the error messages I'd say you are missing a couple of files that the script is looking for.

Having just installed php nuke on my webserver for the first time last month ( http://www.muffinworld.org ), I can honestly say it took many tries, but it was not from missing files because if you drag the whole nuke folder over in a client like smart ftp its pretty hard to botch that up unless you get a connection error. I got the error you do, and if memory serves me its a configuration error, it could be a config file, chmod settings, or an incorrectly set up mysql databse backend. I'm pretty sure its one of those, because those are the problems I had and I know I saw that error, the exact same one. I would check your config files first, they can be messed up by having a trailing slash "/" after a URL where there shouldnt be one. Good luck!
