I ahve winxp, i want to setup an a/c onb my comp for my bro but i only want him to be able to do the following

* Switch on and get 2 desktop
* Not able to do anything except connect to the net, not even use IE

basically so he can use net when i am out but only from his comp on network.

How are you connected to the internet, broadband or dialup?

If its broadband, and you're using internet connection sharing then all he should need to do is turn on your PC and your net connection should connect without anyone logging on.

If its dialup then, internet connection sharing can be configured to allow other PCs to initiate the connection so that should work too.

OR, is it like BT Broadband where you have to run a small program to start your net connection?
