hi there

just got a new DVDRW IDE 1004 (I think it a dvd writer made in china).

works fine with nero, no problems.

but after installing Prassi Primo DVD I get the following error message:

No compatible drives found on this computer...

so who can help me with my little problem ? bad installed (I dont think so) or am I not able to select the right drive ?

thanks for any help.

P4 2 ghz
256 ddram

I found on my old system that problem with a CD-RW.

After a few weeks I found on the main web site for the various programs they include in there download section updates for sertain drives.

Have a look around for a few weeks if no luck e-mail them and they might sort it for you.

Go here (http://www.prassieurope.com/) and download the Px Engine update.

primo prassi probably wants the updated px engine installed - suggest you do a seach to find the latest one to support your dvd-rw. Go to:
'www.prassi europe.com' or do a search under 'veritas' to get the latest px engines

If I am correct, prassi is the old version of recordnow. I would suggest getting that.

Get Recordnow Max, primo dvd is old and discontinued so if your drive is less than 6 months old its highly unlikely primo will support it and if the px update from prassi didn't cure your problem you never will as no more updates are being made for primo dvd.
