Ahem, we assume that you legally own the games that you are making backups of. ;) Anyways have you tried any online sites. I know here in the US netflix offers a pretty good deal. Also I would imagine that in toronto there are a bunch of places that rent videogames. Check out any Video store as they usually carry them.

Im in the UK so cant help you out about prices etc but as for hiring games, Isn't there a blockbuster video store in toronto? As for backing them up the answer is yes and without the knowledge of the renter unless you tell them of course.
