hey guys, can we play kawaX off a disc? or does it have to be off the hd?

I've just put it in on an avalaunch multidisk, and file path to the roms is d:\Games\KawaX\Roms, but the rom list of the games never come up.

wondering if any of u guys have used it at all on a disc?

I know this may seem silly, but the first time you run KawaX on your xbox, rescan the roms (press X) and they will then all appear......

nope done that and they didn't appear- although i'm not sure whether thats because something needs to be written back to the romlist.ini file which obviously can't be done on the dvd-drive

Its not written to the dvd-r for obvious reasons, it is written to the xbox's HD as a save file, look in your save game files on the xbox and see if kawax is there.....

hmmmm.... this the kawax plus emu- the one that can play the 'banned' games- have you managed to run this of a dvd-r dark-force?

if so can you remeber the rompath?

sure did m8......although svc wont load with all other roms on the disc..see my other post about this, but all the other **cough** banned roms work...

The path on my discs are as follows......just extracted an iso and got.....

d:\roms

and thats it...so looking at your first post, your path is wrong :)

Hope you can get this fixed m8....along side mameox, Kawax is the dogs nads :)
