i have tried to put a neww hdd in my xbox using evox

but when i turn on the green light on the front of console flashes red.

my new drive is only 8gb and is out of a old computer , i just deleted files of and connected up

any one help with this please:confused:

You might have to zero out the drive. Do you have a modchip?

probably a problem with resetting your clock...do you have the retail drive still so you can get into the ms dash? if not then you might be f'd, try getting the slayers install (google it)

u might want to look at the jumper settins as by acdent i forgot to change it on on of my installs and i stood there puzzled for a wile till i clicked in my head

how do izero the drive , can u point me to a tutorial that may assist me

Make sure the jumper setting on the hdd is set to "cable select".
