Ok- I have a pc using windows xp and a Linksys wireless router with 4 port switch. I have 2 xboxes I have been using, (one is my brothers- we will call this #1). Both xboxes are using slayers evox 2.5. Ok #1 works great- I plugged into the router and It connected automatically, evreything is assigned. An Ip number is generated. I am using flash fxp, I type in the ip number it generates, and xbox for pass and name. Tried to do the same on my box, (xbox #2), but when i try to use quick connect I get a time out- can't connect error, even though, in settings it shows the xbox as being connected and genrates an ip number with DHCP. The connections look good and the same as xbox #1. Xbox #1 has a flashed tsop and a 200 gig WD hard drive. Xbox 2 has an xecuter lite 2.2 and everything works on it excpet networking. Anyone have any ideas? This seems very starnge to me. It seems that either this xbox has a problem or its a problem with the xecuter. I dont know- please give me hand- any help appreciated- I have been trying to fix this for a long time.
Merry xmas all.

are you using the same wires and pc to connect to both? or 2 different pcs?

Don't use DHCP for your ip go into the settings and change it to a static ip and set the different ip's for each xbox. Use the same 1st 3 sets of #'s and assign the last # 0-255. For example heres my setup:

Linksys Router IP (network gateway): 192.168.1.1

1st xbox static IP: 192.168.1.99
2nd xbox static IP: 192.168.1.98
