I dont know much about pc's but i got blank dvd+r discs that say 4.7 gig yet when i go to back up a movie using nuro burn it only gives me 4.5 gig to fill up, what about the other 0.2 gig???

The 4.7GB is metric where as PC's use binary where 1024 is used instead of 1,000.

4.7x10^9/2^30=4.377GB.
